Baher S. Yanni, M.D.

Dr. Yanni is the President and Medical Director of the Prima Pain Relief center where he offers significant relief from pain for patients suffering from many forms of chronic and acute pain synDr.omes. Dr. Yanni’s practice incorporates a comprehensive physical exam and diagnostic testing to identify the source of pain, and the newest and most sophisticated treatment technologies available in medicine today. Dr. Yanni’s training and expertise combined with his compassionate and caring approach to the treatment of each of his patients routinely results in complete relief of pain as well as very high levels of patient satisfaction. The vast majority of new patients seen by Dr. Yanni are from referrals by previous patients.

Dr. Yanni completed medical school at Cairo University School of Medicine. He did a post doctoral fellowship in surgery at the UCLA School of Medicine followed by an internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. To complete his formal training Dr. Yanni completed a
comprehensive fellowship in Pain Management at the New Jersey Pain Institute.

Dr. Yanni continues to attend both domestic and international seminars to maintain and continue to develop his position as an innovator and leader in the field of pain management. Such course work includes the 52nd International Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Symposium in Seoul South Korea, The first World Congress of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery in Hawaii and the Arthro Kinetics Spinal Endoscopy Seminar Series. Dr. Yanni has conducted significant research in the areas of enhancing the safety of pain procedures as well as developing less invasive pain treatment technologies.

Dr. Yanni has been an assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and is a member of:

• The International Spine Intervention Society
• The American Society of Anesthesiologists.
• The American Society of Interventional pain Physicians
• The New Jersey Pain Society.

Dr. Yanni enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, riding horses, and traveling abroad.

Mirna Ayoub, PA-C

Mirna Ayoub is a board certified physician assistant. She is a graduate of the Long Island University Physician Assistant Program. Mirna completed her training in various prestigious New York City hospitals such as Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center, and Beth Israel Medical Center including rotations in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, geriatrics, psychiatry, and emergency medicine.

Mirna works closely with Dr Yanni to formulate and implement a comprehensive treatment plan to reduce a patients’ pain and improve function. Her areas of special interest are geriatric patients and patients with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. Mirna is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New Jersey Physician Assistant Association
